The VAL-YOU project aims to foster education for democratic citizenship and promote active citizenship within secondary education in order to empower students to recognise, respect, exercise and promote European values such as human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and human rights. The project is based on a whole-school approach that aims to transform schools into spaces of democracy.
