Project description

The InclusiveFuture project is committed to strengthening sustainability competences and advancing inclusive education in schools. It seeks to integrate sustainability into school curricula, nurturing environmentally responsible individuals while promoting educational practices that value diversity and foster equity. The project adopts a comprehensive approach that includes policy experimentation, stakeholder involvement, and the development of innovative tools and educational resources. Guided by evidence-based research and proven practices, this collaborative initiative aims to deliver effective and scalable solutions.

Project objectives

The primary aim of the project is to support the integration of sustainability-related knowledge, skills, and attitudes into educational systems, while promoting inclusive education for students from diverse backgrounds through innovative school policies.

Specific Objectives:

  • • Develop comprehensive curriculum models to foster and assess sustainability competences.
  • • Strengthen teachers’ skills and readiness to deliver and evaluate education for sustainable development, including in low-income and rural areas.
  • • Pilot innovative pedagogical approaches that promote sustainability in school environments.
  • • Empower teachers, students, and parents to act as “change agents” within their communities.
  • • Promote inclusion and diversity as core values in education for sustainable development.
  • • Advocate for policy alignment with sustainability competences at local, national, and European levels.
