The accessibility to places makes disabled visitors feel more included. It can be achieved through the adaptation of the buildings or digitalising them. Due to COVID 19, these measures have been accelerated or changed: many museums have created digital tours and/or expositions so visitors can access from their homes. The project is centred in those who are low-skilled or have special needs and aims to bring them the heritage of the European Union by proposing a narrative and visual experimentation of art and mix it with the acquisition of basic skills.
The Erasmus+ KA204 TEAM OF ART project will develop “The European Digital Museum” which will be accessible to learners who have never had contact with classical European culture, will contain virtual exhibitions, 120 animated works of art, and a glossary of key art words, with videos in sign language. Partners will also develop training materials targeting professionals (educators, trainers and meditator).
