Brief description of the project:
The objective of the project was to organise a meeting of teenagers from different European countries with the aim to exchange ideas and get to know new cultures. The topics to be worked out included the tolerance to other cultures through understanding the differences between different cultures. To achieve this objective, youth leaders who were the heads of each group had previously taken part in the youth training to get knowledge on how to work with teenagers and how to educate them in the non-formal and informal way using an adventure based learning method.
During the exchange, the teenagers and youth leaders participated in the cultural activities: they visited the city of Rome, swam in the swimming pool, organised and took part in free time activities, for example, in the intercultural party where every national group presented their own typical food before tasted it, participated in different games and activities of cooperation and team-building.
