The NGO ’Associació de Programes Educatius OpenEurope’ has been approved a project within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, with the aim of improving the quality of the services provided through the training of their staff. The project was approved by the Spanish National Agency in June 2017. It consists of two training courses for educators: one about Erasmus + project writing and development techniques and the other about new teacging and learning methodologies.
Innovation and life-long training are one of the principles of OpenEurope; this is why we submitted a project that could help our team to be more prepared and, therefore, provide better services and opportunities to the youth in our area through the improvement and innovation of the International projects developed. Similarly, the improvement of the methodologies used in language teaching is one of the main goals of the project.
Two youth workers of our team will participate in each of the two training courses. These participants will be selected according to the needs of the NGO. The course about project design and development will take place in Italy, and the course on education methodologies in Greece.
Thanks to this project, the participants will not only learn about the topics, but also disseminate the knowledge acquired among the whole NGO’s team. In this way, OpenEurope’s staff will improve their working style which will be more transparent, homogeneous and will guarantee the quality of the services provided.
