The ENTER Project Consortium, composed of 5 partners from Greece, Italy, Spain and Bulgaria (countries that have recorded rates of young people not studying or working above the EU average, reaching 16.4% on average, with highest rates in Italy and Greece, with 27.8% and 25.1%, respectively), has launched the ENTER project with the aim of strengthening the digital skills and social entrepreneurial mentality of young people (aged 20 to 34 ) who are unemployed and are not participating in education or training. ENTER focuses on innovation and adaptation, encouraging young people to explore new ideas in an open environment. Digital skills and technologies, such as 3D design and 3D printing, can turn innovative new ideas into reality with low cost and immediate response to the challenges and problems of local communities. 3DP technology enables localized and decentralized production of customized products based on the needs and demands of local communities. This technology can help young generations adapt to new social demands and priorities, developing new technological skills and knowledge. Target groups include NEET young people aged 18 to 30, as well as those with disabilities that allow them to participate in training, and young people who wish to actively engage in social initiatives and find solutions to critical problems in local communities.” TARGET GROUPS – Young NEET between 18 and 30 years old who suffer from some type of disability (visual or hearing impairment, body amputation, people on the autism spectrum) in order to be able to participate in The trainings – Young people who want to actively participate in social initiatives and find solutions to critical problems of the local communities.
The project will focus on the development of digital skills and competencies, specifically in 3D design and printing, for young NEETs, both with and without disabilities. Additionally, emphasis will be placed on addressing challenges faced by society and local communities. We will seek to promote social entrepreneurial skills and mentality among young NEETs. The project will include design and support to establish a “social and business digital hub.” One of the key objectives will be to increase the employability of young people who neither study nor work, whether they have disabilities or not.
