Reus is the capital of the baix camp in the province of tarragona, catalonia, spain. The area has always been an important producer of wines and spirits and it is known as the birthplace of architect antoni gaudi, the place where the world-famous architect grew up and went to school before leaving for barcelona and, therefore, deemed to be the cradle of modernism. The easiest and most comfortable means of transport to go to Reus from Barcelona Airport is the bus. You can take a bus at the airport (both Terminal 1 or 2). It will take you directly to the main bus station of Reus. There are not many buses from the airport to Reus, but there are more buses to Tarragona. If there is no direct bus to Reus at the time that suits you, you can take the bus from the airport to Tarragona. From Tarragona bus station, you can take a bus to Reus, which will leave you at Reus bus station. The airport bus arrives at platform 1 or 2 and the bus to Reus departs from platform 11. Another possibility is to take a taxi once you are in Tarragona. The average fare is 30 €.
Although the fastest transport to get to Reus is the bus, you can also choose to travel by train. In this case, you will have to take a train from the airport to a train station in Barcelona (Estació de Sants) and from there, another train to Reus.
