Citybound Europe Youth Exchange is a mesh of eight ONG of distinct European countries totalled by the common aim: acostar Europa at the youngsters.

To achieve this aim, the mesh organises exchanges of 7 dias of length for young of 13 at 17 years. The youngsters worked together to achieve the following aims:

  Sensitise on the common European culture, smashing the national divisions and seeking universal values.
• ▪
  Promote the active citizenry, the volunteering and the implication of the youngsters.
• ▪
  Cement the solidarity, the realization, the tolerance and the cohesion among the European society.

What is?

The mobilities are international exchanges of 7 at 15 days so that adolescents, youngsters and workers of the field of the youth total at another country and debate on motifs related with the identity and the values of the European Union. This program, financed by the European Union, has as a objective foster the mobility and the intercultural learning, as well as improve the linguistic abilities of the participants.

The participants have to be industrious, have an open mentality and be motivated to meet at persons of every Europe. It requires the use of the English language to communicate with the coordinators and participants of the project, thus it recommends have fluidity at the language, although it does not demand any official certificate.

There are two types of mobilities:

  For youngsters of 13 at 17 years: the exchanges are coordinated by a youth leader with experience, and the participants have to have a basic level of English to be able to communicate with the others participants and with the monitors of youth.
• ▪
  For main of 18 years: it requires a level of tall English to be able to communicate with the others participants, debate on the motifs, understand the norms, etc.

Which is?

The Kick of European Volunteering (SVE) is an only opportunity for youngsters of among 17 and 30 years to go abroad and make a volunteering at an organisation without spirit of lucre during a period of among 2 and 12 months.

The program does not require any previous technical ken: any youngster with motivation can take part. During the stay, the volunteer will realise tasks at fields how the human royalties, the environment, the sustainability, or social and cultural programs.

All the principal expenses are coated: transport, accommodation, maintenance, linguistic training and medical insurance. Besides, the volunteer gets a monthly assignment of pocket.
