Description of the project
This occupational formative project was born as a response at the lack of professionals qualified at the sector of the hospitality industry at Tarragona's Area.
Through a practical methodology and adapted at the real necessities of the labour market, achieved to improve so much the competences of the workers at active like the ocupabilitat of the persons at situation of unemployment. HostelLab has gone directed at professionals at active of the sector of the hospitality industry; persons at situation of unemployment with previous experience; and companies that want to improve the qualification of his squads.
The project has carried out with the support of the Deputation of Tarragona.
Objective of the project
The principal aims of the project have been: Improve the professional qualification of the sector
- Reduce the labour rotation at hospitality industry
- Facilitate the labour insertion of persons stopped
- Adapt the training at the real necessities of the companies
The project has based at an innovative and practical methodology:

- Simulations of labour situations
- Sessions recorded to facilitate the conciliation
- continual Appraisal and adaptation of the contents

- Sessions of cocteleria creative
- Simulations of kick at room
- Workshops of maridatge of wines
- Role plays of attention at the customer
- Management of stock and control of costs

OpenEurope has had a subsidy of the Deputation of Tarragona for co-finance the activity, of a total of 18.700€ to carry out the project.
