Mobility programs are international exchanges lasting 7 to 15 days, where teenagers, young people, and youth workers meet in another country to discuss topics related to identity and the values of the European Union. This program, funded by the European Union, aims to promote mobility, intercultural learning, and improve participants’ language skills.
Participants must be hardworking, open-minded, and motivated to meet people from across Europe. English is required to communicate with project coordinators and participants; while fluency is recommended, no official language certificate is necessary.
There are two types of mobility programs:
Mobility programs are available at different times of the year and in various countries across Europe. Themes vary but focus primarily on European identity. Some topics may include cultural identity, folklore, technology, employment, public transport, non-formal or formal education.
Mobility projects are co-financed by the European Union, meaning that most major expenses are covered. Participants are only required to pay administrative fees, specified in the participation contract.
For minors, it is mandatory that legal guardians be present when signing the contract.
