Safe Spaces contributes to the core areas of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027: engage, connect and empower young people. It supports youth participation in democratic life, social and civic engagement and most importantly strives to ensure that all young people have the necessary resources to take part in society.
Research Publication
The mapping of the target groups will take us on a journey through the cooperation with youth centers. The different experiences coming from different areas of the world and even within Europe (South, East and North of Europe) will provide invaluable opportunities for an innovative and rich methodology on how to approach SafeSpaces’ target group through different successful actions.
Training program
Our Training Program will be developed following the Occupation Profiles as a result of the research phase, and will cover a plethora of topics according to the different areas of specialization of the social worker employed in the migrant center: legal support, psychological support, career support.
Safe spaces
The result will consist in the creation of list of job profiles in the sector targeted and a job role description template. We will focus on professionals working as social workers in Reception and Integration Centre across the implementing countries. Part of this deliverable will be the mapping of existing job profiles in the very specific field of non-accompanied migrant minors and the proposition of SafeSpaces project for a new professional that can work efficiently under these circumstances.
